How to Configure The Notification Center in iOS 5

One of the great new features of iOS 5 is the Notification Centre - here are a few tips on how to configure your handy new update!

1.     Go to the Settings menu on your iPhone.

2.     Select the Notifications menu.

3.     Now tap one of the apps you want to show up in your notifications area. The settings you have for the majority of apps are as follows

  • None - this is if you don’t want it to notify you at all.
  • Banner - this will show a small banner at the top of the screen
  • Alert - this uses the old style of alerts and shows a popup message.
Once you've gone through all your apps and setup how you want to be notified you'll have all the information you could ever need at the swipe of a finger. Happy Configuring. Thanks M.
