Turn User Account Control on or off In Windows Vista

Like me you may find the User Account Control (UAC) Feature highly annoying and pointless so follow the steps below to turn it off in Windows Vista.

1. Click the "Start" button.
   

2. Click "Control Panel".
   

3. Click "User Accounts and Family Safety".

4. Click "Turn User Account Control on or off". 

5. Click the "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" check box to turn UAC on or off accordingly, then click OK
