"It Looks like your offline" message with Windows Live programs

You are trying to install Windows Live programs on your computer and you get the following error message:

"It looks like you're offline. - To install Windows Live Programs, you must be online.
Please connect to the Internet, and then try again."

First you will need to make sure your computer is conected to the internet. If it is then you will need to check the following settings.

1. Open Internet Exploer
2. Click Tools > Internet Options
3. Go to the Connections tab and then click LAN Settings
4. Make sure the "Automatically detect settings" check box is checked.
5. Click O.K and then O.K again.
6. You should now be able to install your Windows Live Programs
